Anna, Research Assistant

Anna first connected with Springtide in 2022 as a research intern. After graduating from Yale University with a B.A. in Sociology and a self-designed concentration in Faith and Identity, she gained experience as a nonprofit professional before returning to Springtide as a Research Assistant.

Anna is especially interested in understanding how young people participate in and experience religious communities, with the belief that research can help shape programming and practices at religious institutions. She is also interested in mixed-race studies and how the growing number of multiracial young people understand and experience their ethnic identities. She loves that Springtide’s research is designed not only to deepen understanding, but to make a real impact on people and communities.

Outside of work, Anna loves camping, watching her favorite show, Survivor, and reading a mix of novels and nonfiction.
