In a survey by Springtide Research Institute (via The 74), an impressive “82% young people report it’s important their supervisor helps them set performance goals; and 83% say they want their supervisor to care about their life.” Mentorship can contribute to the professional growth of Gen-Z employees by offering personalized learning, skill-building and exposure to industry-specific knowledge that goes beyond the college classroom.
