Tsion Agaro, Research Intern

Tsion joins Springtide as a Research Intern, working closely with Senior Research Associate Nabil Tueme to expand Springtide’s research on Gen Z & Diversity. During her internship, Tsion is interested to find out if there’s a growing interest in religion despite declines in religious affiliation, especially with the growing number of Muslims worldwide. Additionally, she wants to learn more about how to illustrate what the data show about larger societal trends and changes. Tsion is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration at Yale University. When she’s not working or studying, Tsion enjoys learning Ethiopian/Eritrean dances and learning about Ethiopian history.
