Next month, join us as we reveal new research on how faith and service connect for young people

Serving with Purpose: Connections between Young People’s Faith and Volunteer Efforts, a free 60-minute webinar and Q&A session, shares what Springtide Research Institute learned from recent research on faith and service, including what young people say about why they volunteer, what they gain from these experiences, and how service intersects with their religious and spiritual beliefs.

Register here and join us on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5:00 PM PT/7:00 PM CT/8:00 PM ET.

This webinar serves as the final offering of our work for the TENx10 Faith and Service grant, which centered members of our Springtide Ambassadors Program (SAP), young people ages 13-25 who come together for a 15-month commitment to contribute to research projects and learn more about how religion and spirituality show up in their own lives.

For the past six months, SAP members have participated in a series of personal reflections and group discussions to better understand their own service efforts and how they connect with their own personal beliefs and spiritual practice. In collaboration with Springtide’s research team, they also immersed themselves in the research process to understand young people’s thoughts and perceptions on volunteering and how their faith impacts those choices. By crafting specific questions for a nationwide survey, they were able to help analyze survey responses from more than 2,000 young people that reflect why they volunteer. This webinar unites those findings with their own personal stories to illuminate how faith and service connect for young people.
