Waslat (she/her), 2025 Springtide Ambassador (20 – Vermont) 

Favorite entertainment: I love reading Russian novels, cooking, and shopping. One of my all-time favorite books is The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky. 

Favorite dessert: Baklava, which I know is originally from Turkey.

Place where I feel centered: At home. I prefer staying in and engaging in my activities rather than going out.

Unique talent or trait: I have a knack for learning languages easily and am good at memorizing. I also enjoy designing and painting. 

Dream profession: I am currently studying software engineering and computer science, and I want to develop my talents in this field. Additionally, I hope to get involved in business as well. My long-term goal is to learn as many different skills as possible, whether it’s picking up a new instrument, learning a new language, exploring new foods, or trying new sports.
