Mae (she/her), 2025 Springtide Ambassador (17 – Minnesota) 

Favorite entertainment: I really love to read and typically have a book on me wherever I go! The novels I love the most are Just Kids, The Song of Achilles, Circe, and the Crazy Rich Asians series. The Secret History is amazing, as well. But I also love to watch movies; my favorites being The Royal Tenenbaums, Perfect Days, Little Women, and Spirited Away. Oh, and going to the ballet always makes me really happy!  

Favorite dessert: Vanilla/raspberry cake, red bean mochi, and fruits  

Place where I feel centered: I always feel the most peaceful when I’m out in nature, specifically near large bodies of water. My family goes up to Grand Marias a lot, as well as California, and I always treasure the moments I have near the lake/ocean. I also get a sense of calm from bookshops.   

Unique talent or trait: I I would say that I am very perceptive, whether it’s looking at emotions, situations, or my own feelings. And I’m pretty good at making a nice room-atmosphere: as in, candles/music/decor/light/etc.  

Dream profession: Creative director of a luxury fashion house (haute couture!)
