Ganeev (she/her), 2025 Springtide Ambassador (16 – New Jersey) 

Favorite entertainment: When it comes to books, I used to be a huge Harry Potter fan during my elementary years. Now, my interests have evolved to more philosophical literature. Some of my recent reads include Animal Farm by George Orwell, and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. For shows, I’m big on sitcoms, and am currently rewatching “Brooklyn 99.” 

Favorite dessert: Cheesecake stands the test of time; it has been my go-to dessert for as long as I can remember! 

Place where I feel at home: When I’m with my family – no matter where in the world we are, I know we have each other’s backs, and I’m not afraid to be vulnerable or make mistakes with them.   

Unique talent or trait: I can speak 4.5 languages. I say 4.5, because I don’t know Spanish that well, so I count it as half a language! Other than that, I speak English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu. I learned Hebrew in middle school, but then I stopped practicing in high school, so I’ve lost most of my knowledge there; I can still recognize the letters and numbers to a certain extent. 

Dream profession: In my dreams, I’m a successful lawyer. I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since third grade and if I could somehow get through the LSATs and the Bar and end up making it, I would be ecstatic.
