Marte Aboagye

Marte Aboagye (she/her), Head of Community Engagement

Marte Aboagye is the Head of Community Engagement at Springtide Research Institute where she oversees the Research Advisory Board, Springtide Ambassadors Program, The Voices of Young People Podcast, and more. She has worked domestically and internationally with nonprofits, public schools, and churches in the areas of social justice, diversity, arts engagement, media communication, community organizing, and youth empowerment. Originally from Greeley, CO, Marte studied communication and philosophy/theology at Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego, CA) before receiving a Master of Science in International Affairs from The New School (New York, NY). Marte lives in Baltimore, MD with her husband and toddler son. She loves to travel, spend time outdoors, and ‘dance it out’ through group fitness or whenever a good song comes on.
